Default Has anyone taken the MCAT?

Anyone? Thoughts? Experiences? How early did you begin to prepare for them?

i took them 15 years ago! so i probably don't have very relevant advice. i do recommend kaplan courses. even though it's an expense it's well worth it. with medical school expenses being the way they are you want to do everything within your power to get into a state school. it could mean $100,000 to $150,000 less debt in the end.

I haven't done the MCAT but I'd also recommend Kaplan
they helped me a lot with the UK medical entrance exam I sat in summer
expensive but worth the money

I took Kaplan for the LSAT and it was great. My friends all taught the MCAT at various times after it helped them get into medical school. Definitely take a class.

There's some good material to be had on ebay. I sat a similar exam and got lots of past exam questions from there.

I took it in.. July 2008.. (seems SO long ago!).. I took the Princeton Review course for it.. I am not much of a lecture person so I ultimately didn't get much out of it.. EXCEPT that the books were great (really the physical sci and bio sci ones.. i never once opened the verbal or writing ones bc those are my best subjects).. so if you are a self-studier, I would recommend buying the books off Ebay or through them.. I wish I still had mine to send to you, unfortunately I either gave them away or threw them away!

good luck!
